WOMEN IN ROOFING SEMINAR
Want a Career in the Construction Trades?
The Roofing trade is looking for women to join our ranks. What is the roofing trade like? How hard is it? What do women in the trade think about it? What is the Roofers Apprenticeship program about? All these questions will be answered at our two day hands on seminar. We will have:
- Active women apprentice and journeyman to talk about the trade
- Various mock ups for you to install various roofing systems
- Information about our Apprenticeship Program
- Information about our Union

The Oregon & SW Washington Roofers & Waterproofers Apprenticeship and Training Center provides education and training to those of the Roofing & Waterproofing industry located in the State of Oregon and four Counties of SW Washington.
Recognizing there is no substitute for quality training & apprenticeship, the OREGON & SW WASHINGTON ROOFERS & WATERPROOFERS APPRENTICESHIP & TRAINING CENTER is devoted to the idea that recruiting, mentoring, training, and continually educating roofers and waterproofers will only enhance the industry and those that are serviced by it. The JATC committee (OSWWRWATC) is continuously on the alert for ways and means to improve training methods and procedures so as to keep ahead of the ever changing industry that we are a part of. The staff of (OSWWRWATC) is constantly; (1) growing in their scope of industry knowledge, (2) better understanding the process of adult learning, and (3) quickly adaptable in their methodology of facilitating. Only by providing a dual experience of tactile and cerebral training can the industry’s workforce meet the challenges of the ever changing world of roofing and waterproofing.
